Every bride has her own way to plan her special day. Some brides have planned everything and lined up before the engagement, while other brides are planning their way. But no matter what kind of bride you are, one thing is true: wedding hairstyles are constantly changing!

If you haven’t decided on the final hairstyle yet, you may have a million questions: should I style my hair up or down for a wedding? Curly or just? Simple or extravagant? Because, as in the matter of wedding dresses, the options for wedding hairstyles seem endless.

But don’t worry! We will tell you how to choose the best hairstyle for your wedding, including tips and recommendations from hairstyle experts Hallie Bivona, Lee Harges and Caitlin Meyer.

Choose your wedding hairstyle

Choosing a wedding hairdresser is almost as important as choosing a dress. Make sure that on your wedding day you have the right style that suits your personality and aesthetics. That’s where, according to experts, you should start.

Create a board for inspiration.

“The best advice I can give brides who are looking for the perfect wedding hairstyle is to search on Pinterest and launch a wedding hairstyle board. You will very quickly realize that the hairstyles that you tie are actually very similar, if you do not repeat the same style, ” says Bivona.

Get ready to explore your hair.

Meet a stylist for study. “Bring photos of her dress, earrings and headdress. Show photos of the style that inspires you on your big day,” says Harges. “Just because today is your wedding day doesn’t mean your partner needs a new version of you. They want you, so don’t try to go against your natural style tendencies. Go with what is beautiful,” she notes.

Look at her wedding dress.

Bivona recommends drawing inspiration from your dress and how the designer designed it on the model, or in editorial photos. “It can help you get rid of problems with wedding hair and take a fresh look at how best to style your hair.”

She also notes that if you are a bride who wears a hairstyle and wants a dress with a detailed back, it would be nice to make some hairstyles that will allow you to show your back.

Think about your everyday hairstyles.

“I would always like to know how my wives regularly style their hair. This is a good starting point for choosing a wedding hairstyle,” adds Bivona. “If you use it normally, look for wedding antics. If you are going to wear it, pay attention to the bunches or formal ponytail. So looking back at the photos of your wedding, you will look like yourself, but in a more formal version.”

Harges says: “Take a look at some of your favorite photos. See what the common denominator is in all these photos when it comes to your hair, and start with that.”

Listen to your intuition.

“To be honest, I always advise you to choose what looks most like “you”.”People look better when they feel better, and while we discuss possible problems with certain products and meet expectations, the buyer always feels happier when he keeps up with his intuition,” explains Meyer.

Types of Wedding hairstyles

Now that you have narrowed down the range of hairstyle options, be sure to take notes on the different types of wedding hairstyles. The most classic style is a romantic bun or hairstyle.

“I’ve been doing wedding hairstyles for over 10 years and found that the classic wavy parting has proven to be an excellent wedding hairstyle,” says Bivona. “However, over the past few years I have noticed more wavy ponytails or smooth hairstyles. There are also stunning disheveled and romantic hairstyles that have returned with great success.”

Meyer adds: “I have a feeling that we will continue to see modernized versions of classic styles — for example, low romantic hairstyles and Hollywood glamorous waves. We see how many brides choose a classic style with a side part and a large volume, but we also see a lot of requests for smooth and modern waves with a central part.

Hairstyle

Hairstyles are one of the most popular hairstyles for brides because of their wide selection. The bun can look very formal: each hair is neatly arranged or curled to give a more whimsical look. You can also add wedding decorations to enhance your hairstyle and give it more zest.

“Hairstyles range from incredibly intricate curls and curls to a simple graceful ballet form. They can be incredibly creative when it comes to hairstyles. I found that any bun can be adapted to almost any face shape,” notes Bivona.

Bivona also explains that the bun has great benefits, for example, getting rid of the hairstyle, especially at summer weddings, will save you from worrying about falling out or twisting when styling, and adds: “Getting rid of the hair will help you stay calm during your wonderful outdoor ceremony.”
